Purlin Tie
Available in two profiles. Purlin Ties are used to fix purlins or battens to rafters or top chords so as to resist wind uplift.
Application
- Fix purlin to truss or rafter with one 75mm nail, or nail two 30mm nails
- Nail both ends of purlin truss to truss or rafter for capacity required
- Dimples (in purlin ties with and without nail holes) are for nail gun usage.
- Minimum spacing 26mm.
- Minimum edge distance 13mm
